Project Membership Updates
A member's eligibility to register vote depends on you, their project coordinator. If you have not notified the EC of new members, they will not be able to register to vote. They will not even receive emails from the National Membership mailing list notifying them about upcoming elections and other important matters. If you have not removed old members, they remain on the eligible voter list and can continue to vote until removed.
Project Coordinators (SCs, PCs and SFMs) can now view, download, and submit updates to their membership list(s) with direct access to the EC dataset, aka Oversight. You will no longer have to request a spreadsheet from the EC, you can access it yourself at any time from Oversight.
You will need an assigned password to access Oversight. Request yours from the EC Chair or Dataset Manager.
Instructions for using Oversight are at https://www.usgenweb.org/usgwelections/ ec-manual/003a-os4all.html.
The old Update Form will remain online for the time being, and you can still use it to submit updates if you prefer; but we think you will find Oversight easier to use. It is faster and more accurate, and of course, you can now get your current membership spreadsheet instantly, any time you want it.
Questions about or problems with Oversight? Contact the Dataset Manager, . Be sure to include details of your problem, including any error messages.
