Guide to Online Registration

Go to https://usgwelections.org/
Click the Register button

Step 1 - ENTERING THE ONLINE MEMBERSHIP RECORDS

Box #1: Enter your User ID (the registration number that was assigned to you.) If you do not know your User ID number, go to Box #3.
Box #2: Enter your password. If you do not remember your password, go to Box #3.
Box #3:
- If you have entered your User ID and password above, DO NOT enter anything in this box. Unless this box is empty, the program defaults to trying to send you your password.
- If you have misplaced or cannot remember your User ID and/or password, enter your e-mail in this box then click Continue
  The information will be e-mailed to you immediately.
- If you do not receive the e-mail, you may have changed your e-mail address but an old e-mail address is still in your record. Request your UserID and/or password from the Chair or Dataset Manager.
Click Continue

Step 2 - PERSONAL DATA

In addition to updating your personal data, you can register to vote near the top of the page. Be sure the "Register to Vote" box is checked if you want to vote in elections!
If you make changes on this page, click on the Update Record button at the bottom. If the information is correct as shown and you haven't changed or added anything, click No Update Needed

Step 3 - POSITION DATA

All of your registered positions are listed here. Check the pending column on the right to be sure your SC or PC has verified any recently added or changed positions with the EC. If a position has not been verified, you will not be able to vote for a given region/position based on the unverified position.
Click the "Delete" link to remove a position you no longer hold.
Click the "Edit" link to change details of your position, e.g. you used to be the ACC but are now the CC for a particular county.

Click the Add Position button at the top of the page to add a new position.
1. If adding a position in a Special Project, select the Project name first. Otherwise, select your position/role from the drop-down box and the required boxes will appear according to the role you select, e.g. if you choose CC, you will be required to identify the State and county. The electoral region will be assigned automatically based on the State you select.
2. Positions/roles and Regions/Special Projects are defined below. Be sure to complete all *required* entries on this screen.
3. Click Update to return to your list of positions. The new position will appear on the list, but will be marked as pending until your SC or PC verifies it with the EC.

Click No (further) changes needed when you have finished making any desired changes or additions.

Step 4 - CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD

Your current password is displayed at the top of the page.
You may enter a new password of your own choosing, have the system generate a new secure password for you, or keep your existing password.
Passwords must be at least 6 characters long and no more than 20 characters long. Numbers and letters ONLY may be used.

Click Skip this step to keep your current password and go directly to the "thank you" page. When you reach this page, you have completed registration.

Locked Records

When you update your information, your record is placed in a queue to have your changes checked and verified as necessary. You can't make further changes until your record is cleared from the queue. The editors will process your information as soon as possible. If you have added a new position, please allow several days for the EC to verify with your Project Coordinator.
