by Jo Branch
It has been a sad quarter for the USGenWeb. We have had
seven removals this quarter due to death: Elsa Altshool (NMGenWeb), Mari Byers (TNGenWeb),
David M. Edsall (IAGenWeb), Dot Golliher (LA-Archives), Chuck Knuthson (CAGenWeb),
Edith Ziegler (LA-Archives), and Lee Zion (COGenWeb, Archives Steering
Committee). All seven of these members were long-time USGenWeb volunteers.
Most were with the USGenWeb since at least 1997 and all were active in their
respective areas.
