USGenWeb Elections Committee Survey


The Elections Committee (EC) is charged with managing and monitoring the elections for The USGenWeb Project volunteers. Since the election is for the volunteers we wish to survey the membership on a few items that have come up over recent weeks. Please answer any of the questions listed below. All responses to this survey are automatically sent to all members of the EC.

1. During the final hours of the nomination period the EC received a nomination for "None of the Above". Would you like to see "Abstain" added to each ballot?

2. If a candidate is running unopposed, would you like the opportunity to vote for them anyway?

3. Several people have suggested that the Membership/Voter list be posted on the EC's web page. Just the person's name and the sites/jobs they do. Would you like to see the membership list available on the web site?

4. Would you be willing to keep your email updated with the EC, if the EC supplied a place for you to do so?

5. Some people felt that listing an incumbent's AB position on the Candidates Page gave the incumbent had an unfair advantage. Do you think an incumbent's position should be listed on the Candidates Page?
