(11-02-04) The November Meeting of the Advisory Board of The USGenWeb Project was called to order by National Coordinator Shari Handley.

(11-20-04) Representative Betsy Mills moved and Angie Rayfield seconded

to confirm the appointment of Mike St. Clair as Recording Secretary, effective 1 January 2005, with duties consisting of taking minutes, recording votes, and handling official correspondence as directed by the Advisory Board.

There was no discussion.

(10-13-04) The motion passed with 14 "yes" votes, 0 "no" votes, no abstentions, and 1 member not voting.

The BRC (Bylaws Revision Committee) is in recess pending appointment of replacement members. I think that bylaws revision is the most important task in progress and will likely set the course for the future of our project. Careful consideration of the rights of all components/groups that comprise the project must be balanced with the rights of the project itself.

are asked to consider volunteering for appointment.

I'm sad to report that our Recording Secretary, Greta Thompson, has tendered her resignation due to time constraints. She will stay through preparation of the December minutes (thank you!).

Greta, we appreciate your good work and your professionalism, and we will miss you very much.
